Happy.LOVE.Day! <3

I had the best ...valentines.... EVER! The two cutest boys in the world were MINE (( all day long )) . Tate and Ty, yes I know, they are my brothers! SO LAME, but I love it! All day at school I got to wear a "ask me for a kiss" shirt. I handed out hershey kisses all day and it was definitely very fun and adventurous! Also, I made some cute valentines for my StuCo family! They were fortune cookies, all of which had personalized fortunes for every person! It was way cool and so easy to do, so check out my simple turtorial. I guess valentines isn't as bad as I thought! <3 thanks to my brothers and some happy-go-lucky friends!
So many people asked if I got a real kiss on valentines day because I had an "ask me for a kiss" shirt. And the truth is... YESSSS. YESSSS. YES! I got the best kiss ever from the only boy that will never have to ask for a kiss ! My dad, yes my dad. Word on the block is that this girl Tiffany (Litchfield) was super jealous! Cause sparked were totally flying!

LOVE IS IN THE AIR!
Sorry I haven't blogged in a while! I have so much going on, basically... I had the best time ever at sweethearts with Brian! It was the best dance I've been to! It was really fun having Sam, Matthew, and Weston all in my group with me! It was like a Maughan family reunion! Once again, Maughan madness prevails!
So here was our schedule:
10:30: breakfast for Kate treaters bday
11:40: picked up by Brian For the day date!
Day Date: we went "skittles" bowling! Every time it was our turn we had to close our eyes and choose a color of a skittles from the bowl. (and eat it!) then based on the color you had to bowl a certain way [opposite hand, eyes closed, flamingo style, dance moves, backwards, kick the ball, partner bowling] it was a cute twist to a very fun game! Then we picked up lunch (sandwiches) and went and had a cute little picnic at the park! Then an intense game of soccer ended our day date with a bam! WE WON!.....
5:00: picked up to take pictures before the dance!
6:00: dinner at zupas with the whole CRAZY group.
7:00: random dancing in the middle of the road to Backstreet Boys and Brittney Spears, got some really weird looks! I loved it!
Then we watched kungfu panda
9:30: showed up at the dance and partied all night long!

Oh hey there sweetheart!

So after some fun memories with newfound friends in Utah, I came home and found out that Brian a friend in Utah asked me to their Sweetheart dance. Most people would think this is strange considering Brian is Sam'a boyfriend, but evidently, Maughans are a bit different... Sam and Brian were merely finding a way so that I could come up too, and be in Sams group! I've got the best friends ever! Sam is gonna go with Blake (another friend) it should be an interesting night! Well so here.. Let me just describe the true madness of the situation at hand.
Feb 2nd: drive to Utah with mom
Feb 4th: get asked to sweethearts by Brian
Feb 5th: drive home
Feb 10th: fly to Utah at 4:55 after school.
Feb 11th: sweethearts
Feb 12th: fly home at 7:35 to be home at 8:05 to get to work at 9:00!
Feb 18th: drive back up to Utah with Tessa for a long planned road trip.
Feb 21st: come home, and try to stay away from Utah.
As you can see... Every weekend this month is in Utah, I sure hope Brian knows how lucky he is! Hahaha! This is gonna be a fun month with some great surprises! I can't wait to unravel what is in store!

maughan madness

this weekend has surely been one of the greatest!! on thursday after school me and my mom headed up to orem for allison's baptism, I cannot believe how fast that little girl has grown up! can you believe it? maybe its just because she is the youngest of the cousins left! oh goodness. well she looked like a true angel and it was fun to see everyone again.

well not only did i love seeing my cousins, but i also enjoyed the company of my BROTHERS! hurrah! ty came down on thursday too, and it was fun staying up til all hours of the night just talking with him, being stupid, watching telly, and bugging our mother. We seem to match alot more now that we both have some thick rimmed glasses. But i am sure ty would just say "no, yours are more hipster than mine"... look for yourself!

i think we both look pretty great~ i sure do miss my brothers already. Even though they give me a hard time! Heres a shot of us three, we decided we needed yet another photo of us kids because u never know when we will actually catch ty in a pair of clean clothes. (we knew these were clean cause he just did laundry at both Aunt Trish's and Aunt Mia's) Gotta love the kid! 

well, ill post some more pictures in a bit! but for now... ENJOY! heres the last pictures of all the maughan madness and the alder cousins too, singing like their is no tomorrow. Apparently allison is not only tone deaf, but deaf herself... because we all know the Maughan's are not big singers! But we always seem to pull it off... GOODNIGHT!
