when parents are away... children ((at heart)) will play!

so on friday my parents decided to FLY AWAY to Ireland for their anniversary. i guess thats a good enough excuse, eh? well i think so.. especially because that meant my GRAMPS would be my     

 new teenagesitter ( i am not a baby ). so grandpa came and we decided we were gonna have a lot of fun. 

during his visit we became PROFESSIONAL food critics. we hit up so many really 

interesting restaurants. One day we went OVER the RaInBoW... to Rainbow Blvd. 

grandpa had a newspaper article and so we went to get some FIsh 'n' Chips. It was really great and we had a super exciting adventure! with my bum leg we couldn't do all the things we had expected, but we definitely had LOTS of practice naps and hammock naps! they were pretty perfect. Grandpa was my LIFESAVER. he ran around doing almost everything for me. I appreciated it so much. I doubt i said "THANKS GRAMPS!" enough.  Me and grandpa had so much fun, we may have not done that much, but we sure had a blast. One day we went to The District. Grandpa went into REI and i went into Francescas. Hes so funny. He only took like ten minutes. I guess guys don't shop much. I think he just wanted to make me walk on my

messed up knee! haha probably getting a workout since we had been eating like crazy. One night i think we watched three movies. all in a row. it was so fun.Spiderman. A Knight's Tale. Seven Pounds. they were all pretty good. i think half-way through Spiderman we stopped and took a nap. THIS IS THE LIFE! every morning grandpa would wake up and get breakfast ready for me and him. it was so kind. he would always try to get me to eat. but i am not a breakfast person. he sure tried though. even when he wasnt driving me to school he would wake up and send me off. HAHA one time i came home and he immediately had my  medicine ready for me. we got it down to a routine! Oh how I love him!! So basically I just wanted to tell you all HOW AMAZING MY GRANDPA IS! he is so fun, happy, loving and amazing!  I love singing to you in the car... listening to you trying to sing to me, holding your hand, telling you i hate pulled pork, and doing all the fun things we enjoy! we always seem to have the best time ever! I can't wait until my parents go out of town again so you will come see me yet again! But.. before we do this all again. I think to give my parents payback we need to plan a little trip of our own... IM THINKING NEW ZELAND or AFRICA? i dont know. we may have to look into that!  Look at all the fun, INTERESTING, exciting pictures we took. THANK YOU GRANDPA. I LALALA LOVE YOU!

so basically it is my birthday tomorrow... so all day today i have been SINGING the song from The Sound of Music!IT HAS BEEN QUITE PLEASANT.  it seems everything has gone very perfectly today. a nice change.
1. alarm clock actually went off (i've been late to seminary lately)
2. nothing too hard to do in school!!!!
3. aced my zoo test.
4. my art project is in the front of the art show (only the best go in the front *major compliment*)
5. purple penguin after school with celina :)
6. rocking out to music!
7. shopping at cute new shop www.gypsyjunkies.com  with mom. birthday outfit complete *love it*
8. sushi night :)
9. dairy queen and yummy ice cream!
10. criminal minds with mom. great way to end the night.

((adventure seeking))

me and tessa mcginnis decided one day that we needed to go to a concert. it so happened that this "super hip" girl Ke$ha was playing at the pearl concert theater. so of course we decided it would be fun.... we also decided that since kesha is known for her crazy makeup and outfits. we would have to do the same. to make it more legit. realistic approach correct? so we did. and we took photos to share.

basically traffic was awful... WE WERE ROCKING AT 2 MPH!

Today... probably 30 minutes ago. Allison decided she was going to go swimming. Not a shocker at all. She went to go change into her suit. A couple minutes later i hear... "AUNT TIFF, i need your help real bad" no reply. "AUNT TIFF, sErIoUsLy! i seriously needing your help this second!" aunt tiff finally replies... "Robyn help her!" so i walk to the bathroom door expecting she needs help tying her suit up or something easy.....  and find this..... 

ALLISON had gotten her head stuck. Not a first. But it for sure made us all crack up. Thank you Allison.

when cousins come.. wild things look less wild.

MY COUSINS ARE HERE (only a few of the terrors). they came on wednesday and oh what fun they are! we have had a good time so far and there is more to come. Wednesdays Highlight: the silence that was still around before they arrived haha. Thursdays Highlight: thursday i left school early (THANKS MOM) and we went to the Adventure Dome. the crazy rides, and screams were worth it by far. We had a great time. Next i went to a concert called Arcade Fire with my brother Tate. I have learned that my brother has no personal space issues when it comes to concerts. He is a weasel. I hope to be one also one day. You get to the front real easily. Two of my friends were at that concert. They informed me after that some red head and his friend and girlfriend *me* made them cry because they were pushing/ moshing so hard. (HAHA that made my night).  There was another great time just shortly before the tate craziness began.. the lil'uns (Jill Allie Dezi and Wave) decided they were gonna talk in snobby girl accents for a good hour. that caused some great giggles. Allie: "Ew i dont wanna go in the van. I cant believe i drive this, its so small. A limo would be better" Jill: "Well robyn you dont look very cute today.. your outfit is so ... not pink" Dezi: "well robyn we have to walk with our butts,.. cause our butts are cute. Walk like this. (you can only imagine the walk!) Wave: "you guys know what the new pink is? PINK!"  Fridays Highlight: we woke up bright and early and went to the Sunset Station Buffet. It was quite fun. By the time i sat down with my first plate... Steven was on his second. Great. And Aunt Trish says he doesnt eat much! PPUUUHHHLEASE! Then i got the priviledge to take the lil girls out to take pictures... they are adorable.. look for yourself.
