Life in Technicolor

Me and Tate got the privilege to go see Bon Iver in concert on Thursday night, and needless to say.. it was      worth every penny. The lights, vocals, and instruments were phenomenal... seriously one of the best concerts ever! If you do not know of Bon Iver, you and the rest of my ignorant high school is missing out! Cause they play REAL music. heres one of my favorite songs by Bon Iver (pronounced: Bone E Bear). Skinny Love....here are some photos of the concert! you can tell we loved it, just by how many photos we took! I sure got lucky when God dished out brothers... cause mine sure do have sweet taste in music, and kind hearts for teaching me what type of music to listen too! Thanks boys.. You've created a true hipsterrrr! OH GOSH. xoxo robs

Opps! I forgot!

I forgot to show u all (I like to think people read my blog) the photos from the hunger game premier! Such a fun night with the Lord girls! I love Eden and Falyn! And of course Claire.
Quotes from the night:
"Robyn stop it, ur not Katniss...you are actually highly UNCORDINATED"
-Falyn
"Falyn, on a scale of one to district 12 you are definitely a 12! ❤"
-Moi
"Robyn, Falyn! Just because Peeta is on the screen...does not mean you have to scream in the theater! BE QUIET"
-Eden (fun-sucker) Lord
"Tonight if I did get a chance to sleep...I would hope to dream of nightlock, district riots, tracker jackers, and most of all PEETA"

I heart road bikers.

I am not the girl that would be biking for more than a couple miles , due to my screwed up knees. But, I do love the boys that ride 'em. I got THREE of my own. My Tate and Dad...and occasionally Ty! I'm their biggest fans, well besides mom. This weekend we got to see them race in Summerlin. They both expecte to do fair, but not their best. But turns out, we have some quick genes in our family after all (: the race was uphill and 100 miles long! Tate came in first place with a time of 5:29, beating the course record by 30 min! And Pops came in at 6:51! Talk about incredible. I don't think I could even get those times on a MoPed. Here's some photos! Love them!

Loving the tradition at grandmas house! Here's some cute glimpses of the fun!

Lovin' the DIY

So I made up three of these cute bracelets that they sell at J.Crew and other out of my (future.college.student) budget! Here they are! They are a bit hard to explain how to do... But anyone who would like to learn, I will gladly help! Don't go and buy them! They take minutes to do! And are AHDORABLE. Most artistic people can figure out how to do them just from the photo. Thats what i did! Really easy!

.::Creative juices flowing::.

It's funny when you walk down the street and see everything as if it were at the tip of your brush or pencil. The world is so different when put in an artistic nature! And I'm currently EATING this fact UP! My portfolio has to be COMPLETE in around a month. Talk about scary! So for those of u who dont understand an artists portfolio. Here goes the low down.
Portfolio= 12 concentration pieces (pieces all centered around a theme) + 12 breath pieces (whatever media or theme desired) + time. So my concentration is more focused on cubism. Which is a bit out of my comfort zone. It's gonna be a learning experience, especially since I just changed my concentration a week ago! 12 pieces to go! AH! Below is one of the photos I am working on. It's an acrylic transfer of a beautiful girl I thought up in my noggin... She kinda looks like Lana Del Rey (which Tate and I agree...is fine by me)! I drew her up in graphite and charcoal... Then made copies. MANY COPIES of the drawing on a black&white copier. Then I used acrylic transfer (my new guinea pig media) which i painted onto the copies and the canvas to transfer my copies onto a canvas. After 24 hours of drying, I took off the paper in water. long process.... ugh. So here's the pictures... Hopefully u understand the process! They are still incomplete . And the one of the man is going to become a cubism transfer also. ENJOY!

Unattainable.

There are no words to describe perfection,
The word itself rhymes with neglection.
I don't think perfect is something to achieve,
It's definitely not descriptive of me,
If perfect, then they must also deceive,
Because perfect is something we will never be.
Nobody's perfect.
...
Not one of my best poems, but hey, I'm not always super good with words! This picture reminds me of this poem.. Oh how I love my life. I'm so blessed!
